ProPublica Report Reveals How Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Other Billionaires Legally Avoid Taxes
For example, Tesla founder Musk, who is the second richest person in the world, paid no federal income taxes in 2018, according to ProPublica. The same went for Amazon founder Bezos in 2007. Bezos is the world’s richest person.
ProPublica reports that the wealthiest people avoid paying taxes using legal means that the average American doesn’t have access to. Because the government taxes income, those living on an income pay the most tax. But if you are a billionaire stashing your wealth in assets not defined as taxable income (like stocks), the majority of your wealth stream isn’t subject to income tax.

Scientists have created a 3D map of a part of the human brain
Researchers from Harvard and Google Research have released the resulting dataset for free access. It is currently the most detailed map of connections in the human brain. It covers 50 thousand neurons and 130 million connections called synapses, as well as subcellular structures, and occupies 1.4 thousand terabytes of memory. All this fits into about one cubic millimeter of brain tissue.
The map has already revealed new information about how our brain works. However, the resulting map is so large that scientists themselves have not yet been able to fully study it.
