🇺🇦🇪🇺 On January 17, the EU will transfer €3 billion to Ukraine - first tranche of the preferential lending program for 2023 with a total volume of €18 billion - EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen

This program, agreed upon in December last year, is designed to cover the current budget of Ukraine, which the country is unable to close on its own due to the economic collapse. The funds are issued in form of loans that will have to be repaid in the future.
