Alsu Kurmasheva (pictured) is accused of collecting information about the Russian military. She is also charged with failing to register as a foreign agent, although she does not reside in Russia, she was allegedly visiting the country for family reasons.

Her employer, RFE/RL, has been designated a foreign agent by Russia's authorities. Intelligence Chief Naryshkin asserts American "journalists" are under orders to incite overthrow of the government within Russia.

RFE/RL is financed by the U.S. Congress through the United States Agency for Global Media, but it does not come with a warning of being "US State Media" on social media (right pic.) Why the heck not?
