⚡️🇮🇳 India implements contentious new citizenship law - that excludes Muslims.

PM Modi's government enforces the Citizenship Amendment Act of 2019, a law that offers expedited naturalization to religious minorities from neighboring countries.

The Act welcomes persecuted Hindus, Parsis, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Christians from specific countries, but omits Muslims, who form the majority in those regions.

Originally passed by the Indian Parliament in 2019, the Act had delayed implementation due to fatal clashes in New Delhi.

⚡️🇷🇺 RUSSIA FIGHTS 1954 DECISION TO TRANSFER CRIMEA TO UKRAINE: The Russian Parliament is considering a Bill that will nullify Soviet leader Kruschev's decision - who, by the way, spent most of his career in Ukraine (pictured.)

Russia, as the legal successor of the USSR, has the right to cancel the illegal decision to transfer Crimea, asserts Sergei Tsekov MP, who submitted the Bill.

Tsekov notes the decision was carried out with legal violations - records show the Supreme Soviet (parliament) of the USSR did not have sufficient quorum that day, to have voted the decision in legally.

Tsekov is a long serving Russian & Ukrainian MP from Simferopol, Crimea, when it was under Ukrainian authority. Even he believes the territory was transferred illegally in 1954.

Crimea, home to Russia's strategic Black Sea Fleet since 1783, returned to Russia peacefully in 2014, after 99% voted in favor during the referendum.

🇲🇩🇷🇺 RUSSIAN ELECTIONS....IN MOLDOVA? Polling stations will be opened on the territory of unrecognized Transnistria - Russian Ambassador to Moldova Vasnetsov says.

There are 250,000 Russian citizens living in Moldova & Transnistria (in a combined population of 3 million.) This is a significant ethnic minority.

Earlier, Transnistria officially asked Moscow for protection against the NATO and EU aligned Moldovan government.
