Towards the Ugledar front, Donetsk region, Ukrainian Forces are expecting an offensive by Russian-led allied forces. Ukraine deploys reconnaissance drones to monitor the movements of Russian troops there.
Ukrainian commanders are attempting to halt the advance of allied forces in towards Avdeevka, Donetsk region as they continue shelling civilian areas.
Ukrainian formations have regularly counter-attacked (up to five per day) on Maryinka and Peski, also in the Donetsk region, in recent days. During the fighting, the Ukrainian Army's 115th Brigade and others suffer significant losses of personnel and equipment, with virtually nothing achieved.
In Veselaya Dolina, Russian-led forces capture electrical substation facility. Russian-led forces together with the troops of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), took control of the Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) sparkling wine factory and the surrounding areas in the Donetsk region.
