The "Saraya Ansar al-Sunna" terrorist group, loyal to STG, claims responsibility for the bombing of the Imam Ali Mosque in the Wadi al-Dahab neighborhood of Homs.

Ansar al Sunnah claims responsibility for the terror attack on the Mosque in Homs which killed 12 people and wounded 30 others.

Ansar al Sunnah is a subgroup of Jolani Hayat Tahrir al Sham - the group split amicable from HTS 10 months ago stating that HTS which by then formed the STG was not committed anymore to the project of creating a caliphate in Syria.

Syrian İnterim goverment customs patrol was targeted by unknown assailants on the Aleppo to Raqqa road.
Regional sources stated that the attack was carried out by ISIS cells that did not accept HTS's foreign policy.

Currently reports are coming in about clashes between the internal security forces of the Kurdish neighbourhoods in Aleppo and the STG - these clashes happened a while ago and the situation is calm.

STG forces targeted a known position of the Internal Security Forces, fire was returned and the situation calmed down.

It’s clear that the STG is looking to cause further trouble in Aleppo - be it that these are factions whom are only formally part of the STG and operate outside of the structures of Damascus.
The STG has, for the past year, vehemently insisted that all military factions in Syria are under their control and the rogue factions wear the uniform of the STG.
Damascus and Jolani bear full responsibility for what his soldiers are doing in Aleppo.

These provocations are happening shortly before the Commander in Chief of the SDF is set to visit Damascus to finalise the SDF x STG agreement.

Small clashes in Aleppo are being provoked in hopes of an escalation; to sabotage the SDF x STG meeting in the coming days.

Similarly, right now minor clashes have been reported at Tishreen dam - where STG forces once again attacked positions of the SDF and provoked a response by the SDF - these are the reports that are currently being spread; it’s another place and region.

Update according to SDF - Factions affiliated with the Damascus government are currently launching a violent attack using heavy machine guns and artillery on the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh in Aleppo, in a blatant attack that threatens the security of civilians and warns of serious repercussions.


The surrounding area is witnessing a state of extreme tension, in light of the continuation of these irresponsible attacks, as the aggressor parties bear responsibility for any results or developments that may result from this escalation.

As explained, factions within the STG are trying to provoke a large scale conflict between the SDF and the STG in an effort to sabotage the ongoing negotiations which will soon be concluded in Damascus.
It’s important to understand that these factions are part of the STG yet they do not consider the transitional government in Damascus as their authority - their orders come from al Bab which is under the control of Turkey which continues to order and control the Turkish led SNA whom have joined the STG only formally.
It is also worth noting that the STG in Damascus spent considerable resources into creating the narrative that they are in full control of all military factions in Syria - their false claims are now hurting the STG significantly.
