Statement | Turkish drone attack confirms military intervention in Syria

In a dangerous escalation that confirms direct Turkish intervention in Syria and threatens to expand the ongoing conflict in the region, a Turkish “Akinci” drone targeted a military point of our forces in the Al-Thawra field area south of the city of Al-Tabqa at six o’clock this evening, resulting in material damage.
This targeting is the first of its kind since the signing of the truce agreement that followed the battle of the Tishrin Dam, which constitutes a clear violation of the existing understandings, and reveals the Turkish side’s insistence on playing a direct military role in Syria.

Very heavy shelling on the axes of Maskana and Deir Hafer in the Aleppo countryside

BREAKING NEWS

The town of Deir Hafer in the eastern Aleppo countryside was subjected to intense shelling by groups loyal to the Damascus government, resulting in the deaths of four civilians, including three girls:

Fatima al-Ahmad (11 years old)

Hamida Hilal (13 years old)

Gharam Tariq al-Hamad (13 years old)

Abdul Latif al-Sheikh Hussein (65 years old)

The same groups targeted the Deir Hafer post office with a suicide drone, causing material damage, but no further casualties have been reported so far.

In the context of systematic acts of genocide committed by factions and militias affiliated with the Damascus government, these militias have abducted dozens of young civilian men after forcibly separating them from their families as they were leaving the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, then proceeded to parade them in the media and falsely present them as fighters within our forces.
This blatantly criminal behavior reflects nothing but a systematic approach to falsifying facts, abducting civilians, and exploiting them as propaganda tools to cover up crimes of forced displacement, shelling, and intimidation. It is a literal repetition of the same crimes committed by these factions in the coastal regions and in Sweida.

We affirm that the abducted individuals are entirely civilians, and we hold the Damascus government and its factions fully responsible for their lives and safety. We call on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, to open an immediate investigation into these violations, to condemn them publicly, and to hold the perpetrators accountable as war criminals.

What has happened before the massacre:
A member of the Asayish has been surrounded and surrendered - per statement from the STG, all combatants who surrender will be protected by the Syrian state.
Minutes later, those who had to surrender were brought together and massacred.
