حاولت حكومة دمشق الوحشية منع توثيق المجازر التي ارتُكبت بحق الشعب الكردي في أحياء الشيخ مقصود والأشرفية، مصوّرة الحرب على أنها التزام بالقوانين الدولية التي تحمي المدنيين، وذلك من خلال إصدار تحذيرات مباشرة قبل استهداف المواقع المدنية.

Why was the drone not spotted flying 50 km over the Aleppo countryside, a region that is under tight surveillance by Turkey - in which tens of thousands of STG soldiers have been stationed in.
We are able to track every drone or jet flight in Syria based on local reports - yet, in the best surveyed region in Syria, not even one report of the sound of the drone or it being sighted has been made.

- Since January 6, 2026, gangs affiliated with the Damascus interim government have launched a brutal attack on our neighborhood, supported by Turkish state reconnaissance aircraft, tanks, artillery units, armored vehicles, and all kinds of heavy weapons, as well as thousands of gang members.
- Our forces decided to resist and defend their honor.
- No bowing down or surrender was accepted.
- Our forces sacrificed their lives without hesitation to defend the neighborhood and the honor of our people.
- A partial ceasefire has been declared to prevent further massacres and to evacuate the wounded, civilians, women, and children from the hospital to safe areas.
- Our struggle and resistance will continue.
