IRGC Attacks Kurdish Parties in Eastern Kurdistan; PJAK Says Tehran Fears Kurdish Unity

PJAK: "The unity of Kurdish parties is the key to our near-future victory"!

Yesterday, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) attacked the offices of several Eastern Kurdistan (Rojhelat) parties in the Southern Kurdistan Region (Başûr), including the Democratic Party of Kurdistan (PDKI) and Komala in Koye, Zergouz, and Surdash, using suicide drones and missiles. The Kurdish party PJAK strongly condemned the attacks, saying they show the Iranian regime’s fear of “the unity and alliance of Kurdish parties and people.”

According to PJAK, Iran has spent 47 years suppressing and waging war against the Kurds. The party said these attacks are the regime’s last desperate attempt to fight the Kurdish freedom movement. PJAK promised that the Kurdish struggle for freedom and democracy will continue and that the unity of Kurdish parties will bring an imminent victory.

On March 1, 2026, the Iranian IRGC attacked the offices of several Eastern Kurdistan parties in the southern Kurdistan Region, including the Democratic Party of Kurdistan and Komala in Koye, Zergouz, and Surdash, using suicide drones and missiles. These drone and missile attacks show the desperation of the Islamic Republic and its IRGC. While the regime’s security forces face attacks across Iran by Israel and the United States, it still sacrifices the people of Iran for its power ambitions. Attacking Kurdish party offices proves Iran’s 47-year habit of suppression and war. Such attacks prevent Iran from solving its crises or respecting the freedom of its people.

The IRGC’s military approach toward the Kurds is doomed to fail. These attacks are the regime’s last desperate efforts as it faces serious challenges in the Middle East.

We promise our people that our freedom movement will continue until we achieve full freedom. Today’s attacks by the IRGC aim at the “unity and alliance of Kurdish forces,” which the regime fears, but they will certainly fail. The unity of Kurdish parties is the key to our near-future victory.

Israel's defense establishment is preparing to significantly expand offensive operations in Lebanon.

IDF: Chief of the General Staff to Northern Command — “We Will End This Campaign With Not Just Iran Being Struck, But With Hezbollah Suffering a Devastating Blow”

LTG Eyal Zamir held a situational assessment Monday at Northern Command, approved expanded offensive plans in the north, and ordered both offensive operations and defensive readiness to be reinforced.

Zamir said the core effort remains focused on Iran, with forceful strikes carried out in unprecedented coordination with the U.S. military. After Hezbollah opened fire, he directed strong action against the group, stressing the IDF is prepared to operate in multiple arenas simultaneously.

He said Lebanon’s government and armed forces were repeatedly warned to disarm Hezbollah and failed to act. “We know how to defend ourselves with our own means,” he said, adding the campaign will not end before the threat from Lebanon is eliminated and Hezbollah is disarmed.

He emphasized that plans have long been prepared and that ground, fire, air, and naval capabilities, along with substantial troop deployments on the borders, are ready for use. He expressed confidence in Northern Command leadership and said defenses in Lebanon and Syria are strong.

“The IDF is on the front line, defending our communities and striking to remove threats. The protection of residents is our top priority. There will be no further evacuation of communities in the Land of Israel,” he said.

Addressing northern residents, Zamir said the IDF controls the skies over Lebanon and will dismantle every identified threat.
