Kurdish Alliance Calls for Unity as Iran’s Regime Nears Collapse

The Alliance of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan has warned that “we are at the threshold of our most decisive days,” citing the February 28, 2026, outbreak of war and the killing of Supreme Leader Khamenei as accelerants in the Islamic Republic’s collapse.

It blames decades of regime aggression, nuclear pursuits, and economic decay — stressing this is not a war of the people, but one imposed by a regime that has “taken the nation hostage” and massacred protesters.

In a six-point appeal, the Alliance urges Kurds to:
