🚨The Alewite "Pride Strike" Continues on its 4th Day

The strike, which began with a call from Sheikh Xezal, continues on its 4th day. Alevi citizens have kept their shops closed, schools closed, and are not taking to the streets. The strike continues for the third day in many areas of Western Syria, including Wadi Al-Ayyoun, Jableh countryside, Ain Shaqaq, Damsarkho, Al-Drikish, the Alawite neighborhoods in Homs, Al-Qanjara, Al-Daliyah, and Al-Zahriyat. This comes as an affirmation of the Alawites’ demands for a federal system of governance and an end to sectarian violations against members of the community.

🚨As the Turkish state and the Damascus government increased their threats against Rojava, escape attempts from the al-Hol camp, where ISIS families are held, also increased. — An escape attempt by 18 women and children from the section designated for foreign families of ISIS mercenaries in Al-Hol Camp was thwarted.

— The women who attempted to escape were of Russian and Turkestani nationalities and took advantage of the dense fog that reduced visibility around the camp.

In 2015, the Turkish government and media used this murder as grounds for ending the peace process between Turkey and the PKK.
What followed was a brutal war, the invasion of the KRG, the invasion of Rojava and relentless attacks by the Turkish government against civilian and military infrastructure in North East Syria.

A decade later, a forensic investigation reveals that the entire narrative was highly likely to be false.

New forensic evidence shows that fingerprints of a Turkish police officer were found in the apartment - in previous investigations the police officer denied ever entering the apartment of the 2 murdered policemen, making the Turkish police officer the new suspect in this murder case.

To no ones surprise - the entire narrative by the Turkish state was founded on a lie and it’s highly likely that Turkish authorities covered up this evidence to provide a justification for launching war against the Kurdish people.

The timing of this new revelation, in the midsts of the new peace process between the PKK and Turkey is obviously not by coincidence either.
