To no ones surprise - the entire narrative by the Turkish state was founded on a lie and it’s highly likely that Turkish authorities covered up this evidence to provide a justification for launching war against the Kurdish people.

🧵One of the most visible manifestations of the practices in the region is the prisons controlled by these groups. According to information from the field, a large number of people are being held in these prisons in and around Afrin. The information regarding the prisons is as follows:

* Qermitliq Village Prison: Reportedly under the control of the Emşat group, this prison is said to hold approximately 200 people. A significant number of the detainees are from Hemra village, the prison is under the control of a group affiliated with Abu Emsha, and some of the "missing" individuals are reportedly being held here.

* Hawar Kilis Prison: It is stated that Fehim Îsa is influential there, and it is also under the control of the Ebû Emşe and Sêf Ebû Bekir groups. It is noted that most of those held here are detained on the grounds of alleged connections to the SDF and local administrations.
* Bilbilê Prison: It is reported that approximately 70 prisoners were held in this prison, where individuals brought from the Raco region were first gathered, then transferred to Baliya village, and some prisoners were taken to Türkiye.
* Sera Qirtqilaqê Village Prison: It is reported that the prison, which was under the responsibility of a paramilitary figure named Ereb Idrîs, has recently been emptied, with some of the prisoners being sent to Hiwar Kilis and others to Emin al-Am prison in Idlib.
* Afrin Central Prison: Located in the Al-Shifa Hospital area and allegedly under the direct control of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT), this facility is said to house approximately 500 detainees and is one of the largest closed prisons in the region.
* Mustafa El Tajêr Prison: Located on the road to Aleppo, this prison is said to be under the control of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and its affiliated groups. While there is no precise information on the number of detainees, it is described as one of the "most closed" centers in the region.

🚨These reports about the deployment of Turkish forces to the contact lines with the SDF are all nonsense.
Turkish media activists used footage from locals filming convoys for the December 8 celebration to falsely create this narrative.
After that, Syrian media activists have cited the Turkish activists and then Turkish media outlets cited local Syrian sources.
