1 day after Trump signed the lifting of the Cesar Sanctions against Syria - The UK imposes new sanctions against Syria in response to the violations by the Syrian Government under Jolani against the Alawite minority at the Syrian Coast (The Coastal Massacres).
The sanctions also include Assad era officials.
Among the sanctioned individuals are
- Abu Amsha ( Mohammed al Jassem, highest ranking general in New-Syria, commander of the 62nd Division, formerly the commander of the Turkish led SNA and the Suleiman Shah division)
- Sayf Abu Bakr (Sayf Boloud), general of the 76th division of new-Syria, formerly commander of the Turkish led SNA, known as the *commander of the Turks* (Hamzat division)
The 3 Turkish led SNA divisions that are now forming the main corps of the Syrian military in northern and central Syria - Suleiman Shah, Sultan Murad and Hamzat division are also being sanctioned.
