Heyva Sor calls for help for people fleeing Lebanon
Kurdish Red Crescent calls on organisations and benefactors abroad to participate in their campaign for the resettlement of thousands of people fleeing the war between Israel and Hezbollah in safe places and meeting their vital needs.
The Kurdish Red Crescent Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê appealed for help for tens of thousands of people forced to flee Lebanon due to Israeli bombardments.
‘Since 7 October 2023, the war between Israel and Hamas has killed more than 42,000 people and displaced hundreds of thousands more due to the destruction. At a time when humanity is trying to heal the wounds of this war, the Lebanese-Israeli war has been added to this catastrophe,” Heyva Sor said.
Heyva Sor noted that tens of thousands of people from Syria had taken refuge in Lebanon due to the war and conflicts that have been going on in Syria for 13 years and there are many people from Rojava among them.

Turkey intensifies restrictions on Kurdish language, imposing 22 bans in seven months
📌 Restrictions on Kurdish language and culture in Turkey have intensified, with at least 22 incidents reported in the past seven months, according to a report by Zeynep Durgut from Mezopotamya Agency. The bans range from the erasure of Kurdish signs to the cancellation of concerts and educational programmes.
📌 The crackdown extends to prisons, where Kurdish-speaking inmates face restrictions. Prisoners at Şırnak (Şirnex) T-type prison reported that Kurdish was banned during phone calls, and in other cases, Kurdish books and music were confiscated. In August, 31 prisoners in Şakran Women’s Prison received disciplinary sanctions for singing Kurdish songs.

Forwarded from Anticolonial antifa 🇵🇸🇳🇨🇪🇭🇱🇧🇨🇺🇻🇪
Green Brigades continue to set an example for all antifa in the world. Despite sanctions, the aggression of the German fascist police, and attacks from fake “antifa” (there are especially many of these clowns in Germany). True to their anti-colonial line, Celtic's ultras are one of those tribunes who regularly emphasize their support for all the oppressed, particularly the Palestinian people. This week in the Champions League, in Dortmund.

Raid on Kurdish cultural center in Berlin
At around 3 p.m. yesterday, the premises of the Kurdish association "Nav-Berlin" were raided.
The Berlin police arrived with several police cars without a search warrant. During the search, pistols were pointed at people in the association, including children.
The search and identity checks were carried out without the presence of a lawyer. The specific reason is still unclear, which suggests arbitrariness on the part of the authorities.
In the course of the raid, Hüseyin Yılmaz, the co-chairman of the cultural center and a member of the association were arrested; the exact charges are still unclear.
Kurdish associations in Germany are regularly the victims of arbitrary searches, which are often declared unlawful afterwards. Civaka Azad, Kurdish Center for Public Relations e.V., explained that the PKK ban regularly denies Kurdish associations any basic rights.

THE ARAB NATION-STATES AND THE FOUNDATION OF ISRAEL
Abdullah Öcalan, the imprisoned leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), set out his views on the protracted Israeli-Palestinian conflict in his handwritten submissions to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), later published in five volumes under the noscript “Manifesto for a Democratic Civilisation”.
As the Israeli-Palestinian conflict rages on, we look at Öcalan’s analysis of Arab nation-states and the creation of Israel. The following text is an excerpt from the fifth book of his defense writings, which has not yet been published in English.
