Released on a $250 million bail, his case remains unresolved, casting a shadow over his current roles. Allegations now suggest he may be engaging in similar influence peddling on behalf of Turkey, Qatar, and the Muslim Brotherhood, though these claims lack judicial confirmation as of July 2025. His documented financial ties to Qatar, including a $660 million Miramax purchase in 2010 and a profitable 2016 sale, further fuel concerns about potential conflicts of interest.

Barrack’s advocacy for closer ties with Turkey overlooks the Ottoman Empire’s 402-year rule (1516-1918), a period marked by well-documented atrocities against minorities. Historical records, including estimates of approximately 1.5 million Armenian deaths and hundreds of thousands of Greek, Syriac, and Maronite casualties during World War I, highlight a legacy of genocide and ethnic cleansing that continues to affect regional dynamics. His reported support for Ahmad Sharaa, linked to Turkish President Erdogan and the Muslim Brotherhood, raises alarms about ongoing persecution of Alawites, Druze, and Christians in Syria, where violence and displacement persist.

This push for a post-Western era under Turkey’s influence risks enabling a neo-Ottoman agenda, threatening the rights and safety of vulnerable minorities. Combined with his past legal scrutiny and business entanglements, Barrack’s tenure jeopardizes U.S. credibility and regional stability, particularly amid evolving U.S. policies on groups like Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.

I demand his immediate replacement with a diplomat possessing deep expertise in Middle Eastern history and free from such entanglements. This action is essential to safeguard minority rights, ensure impartial diplomacy, and prevent a resurgence of historical oppression. I urge the administration to act decisively and transparently in the coming days.

My vote for one of the ten the most arrogant individuals on the planet goes to Palantir CEO, billionaire Alexander Karp, who has observed that "the rise of the West was not made possible by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion . . . but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence", pointing out that [while] "westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do."

He remarked that "the peace activists are war activists" and said that protestors should be sent to North Korea.

Why doesn’t Lebanon’s Central Bank ban usury instead of targeting Al-Qard al-Hasan—the only solvent institution since the 2019 crisis?

The crisis stemmed from Lebanon’s import dependency, dwindling foreign reserves, and corruption, like Riad Salameh’s illegal money transfers.

Ironically, while Lebanese law mandates a Christian head the central bank, its leaders ignore Christ’s condemnation of usury. Sectarianism here is about labels, not values—except for Hezbollah’s Shi’as, who uphold their principles.

If the central bank truly followed Christian values, it would reject Western pressure (like FATF) and build a productive, export-driven economy. Instead, sectarian elites fight over identities while abandoning their faith’s core teachings.

May the Mahdi and Christ return to end this hypocrisy and dismantle the usury-based system. Divine justice will prevail over these parasitic bankers.

Another reason why we can anticipate an attempt by Turko-Israeli proxy Al-Sharaa to subjugate #Lebanon. Usury should be defended at all costs!!
