🇵🇱 Speaking of debil (moron, idiot) - this week a book "DEBIL. A Case Study" about the Polish president Andrzej Duda has been withdrawn from sale throughout Poland.

It violates the law that prohibits insulting the country's president. The author of the book could face up to 3 years in prison.

The book was published in May 2025 and quickly became a bestseller: the first edition of 3,000 copies sold out immediately.

The denoscription of the book about the President of Poland Andrzej Duda on one of the literary internet platforms states that the author "tries to understand the phenomenon of his presidency and how he functioned as head of state."

The publisher's website says the book represents a "unique farewell journey with a debil" and that its noscript was inspired by the words of Polish writer Jakub Żulczyk, who called Duda a debil on social media. He was charged with insulting the president, but the case was later dropped.

Duda is finishing his second presidential term. The inauguration of the winner of the June presidential election, Karol Nawrocki, is scheduled for August 6.
