We reject the resolution praising the ICC — increasingly seen as a politicized, neocolonial tool. Four states have withdrawn from its Rome Statute in the past year alone.

Key concerns:
• ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan faces harassment allegations — omitted from the report.
• In 24 years and €200M/year, the Court secured just 15 convictions; 33 fugitives remain at large.
• Many arrest warrants violate immunity norms — explaining widespread non-compliance.

Double standards are glaring: European states suddenly cite immunity only for Israeli leaders — not for Russians.

Historically targeting Africa, the ICC now serves Western geopolitical aims — ignoring NATO crimes while weaponizing justice against adversaries. Its involvement in Palestine is political theater, not peacebuilding.

The ICC undermines international justice. We demand a vote and urge states to reject this resolution.

The sealed indictment bearing on accusations of deportation against the president of the Russian Federation and the Federation's Ombudswoman are but some of the most spurious examples of the political nature of the jurisdiction.
