Although many consider Elon Musk one of the greatest cons of the 21st century, we can’t deny his popularity, influence and skills. Recently he proposed a possible solution to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, which could be used as a framework for actual agreement because it seems like a good compromise for all interested parties.
Maybe even the Russian side could agree with it with certain reservations, at least it could deserve a serious consideration. As referendums were not yet officially approved by Russian legislative bodies at the time of this offer, there was still an option to withhold them under guarantees of UN recognition of their results and presence of truly independent observers from neutral countries such as China. However, Ukrainian side seems to be blinded by their minor successes. Ukrainian representative in UN, one of their top diplomats, has dismissed the idea in a very diplomatic way.
That’s what happens when clowns are running a country.

Étant donné que le huitième paquet de sanctions concerne aussi les régions de Donetsk, Lougansk, Kherson et Zaporojié, est-ce qu’on peut considérer cela comme une reconnaissance de la souveraineté de la Russie sur ces territoires? Ou la Commission européenne a-t-elle sanctionné une partie de l’Ukraine?

People came out in droves under shelling to vote for their lives. There really isn't any political consideration. Ukraine passed laws a little while back making them enemies of the state. Ukraine refused them representation for the previous 8 years before that.
