I didn’t think I would pay attention to the story about YouTube blocking my interview on the channel of British journalist Mike Jones. If you look at what platforms and social networks like YouTube and Facebook and the media in Europe and America have been doing to the Russian channels RT, Sputnik, and many others over the past few years, it comes as no surprise at all. Can you imagine me as a child of Donbass, for example, on CNN? Or the New York Times? Spiegel? I don’t think so. What I and many other war survivors say is of no interest to those publications and platforms, which I’m not surprised about either.

But in this story, as with “Myrotvorets,” [Peacemaker] I could not keep silent because YouTube did a disgusting thing to a journalist and just a good person who shows the truth about the events in Donbass. He is not engaged in propaganda, he is just like many journalists who have been here – he speaks about what he sees. And if you look at the interview we did with Mike in Lugansk, you can see that we almost never talked about politics. I think those who complained about the video were very offended that we talked to him about artistic creativity without hiding from shelling in the basement.

Many may say that a teenager has no right to judge this, that this is an adult matter. But as a child of war, as someone who has survived and experienced it since 2014, who knows what shelling is, I still have the right to do so. I’m sure there will be more and more journalists like Mike Jones, John Miller, John Mark Dougan. You can’t stop the truth. It can’t be stopped by YouTube or any other video hosting service.

What they are doing reminds me a lot of the actions of the Ukrainian website Mirotvorets. While they don’t yet call for killing or post the addresses of everyone in the world, they are still calling for the killing of many, and posting their addresses.

I wouldn’t want to live in such a “right” society, where only one side’s opinion is allowed and they try to deprive the other side of the right to speak. It’s very funny and sad to see how, for example, Mirotvorets fights with me. In the last six months I gave numerous interviews to Western journalists. Seven of them ended up on the “Mirotvorets” list after interviewing me. It is a shame that YouTube is repeating the mistakes of this nationalist site by blocking my interview with Mike. It’s a shame for Mike and his followers. But, you know, they can’t shut our mouths anymore. We are stronger than you think.

Thanks to all my friends in Europe and America who are not hiding from the inconvenient truth. Thanks to Mike for the interview. As the character in one of my favorite Jim Carrey movies, Truman, said as he left the fake world made up for him, “Good morning! Good afternoon! And good night, just in case!”

◾Yesterday a Russian quadcopter in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) direction detected the movement of a Ukrainian group.

- At first glance, it looked like a sabotage and reconnaissance group of seven people, it turned out that four Ukrainian soldiers were leading three men in standard Ukrainian field uniforms to a firing squad.

◾Today a new video from the Ukrainian side have surfaced in the Internet. It really looks like it is the exact same scene, armed Ukrainian soldiers scort captive Ukrainians and line them up in a ditch in a forest area.

- This video is the confirmation of what we suspected yesterday. Dissenting Ukrainian troops who don't want to either be used as cannon fodder or to bomb and murder Donbass civilians are simply executed as an example for other possible "traitors" and deserters.

If people are thinking about complaining about the situation in their country - please be aware of what Syria is going through right now. 1. Electricity: most areas in Damascus and countryside have only had 30 minutes to one hour in last 24 hours. In the rest of Syria especially rural areas no electricity for 3 days at least. 2. Poor performance of the landline phone network and terrestrial internet due to lack of fuel to run generators during the time of power outage and even the towers powered by solar energy almost shut down because of cloudy weather. 3. Most of the large factories reduced their distribution because their vehicles have no fuel and many closed down until next week - crippling many industries and supply chains. 4. Some government institutions could not conduct electronic transactions on Wednesday and Thursday because there was no electricity or internet. 5. Shops and markets throughout Damascus are closing at sunset because there is no fuel for their generators. 6. Private bakeries reduced production of bread because they cannot operate their machines and ovens. 7. Restaurants reduced production and are only serving cold food or barbecue for the same reasons. 8. Diesel and fuel have disappeared even from the black market with 20L of BM fuel now at 200,000 Syrian pounds (average salary is 150,000, most are earning less). 9. Most government subsidised fuel stations are closed. 10. Queues at the remaining fuel stations are for 24 hours plus. Quantities that do arrive are not enough for demand. There is a restriction of 30L per month anyway. 11. There is a system of sending a message to car owners to come and get their ration of fuel - now there are delays of three weeks for the SMS to be received. Before it was every few days. 12. There is no gas available (bottles) and if they are available on the black market you are talking 150,000 SYP and above, impossible for most people. The average family will use one bottle per week for cooking etc. The bottles are also very poor quality and dangerous. 13. There is no public transport. The roads are literally empty. This means a huge problem for employees and employers with staff unable to come to work etc. 11 years of devastating war and barbaric sanctions, post-war dissonance and insecure borders - the Caesar sanctions punish any nation that comes to assist Syria.
