Hell is beautiful.
Fate is in heaven, armor is on the chest, accomplishment is in the feet; always fight with your opponent in the palm of your hand, and you won't get wounded. If you fight willing to die, you'll survive; if you fight trying to survive, you'll die. If you think you'll never go home again, you will; if you hope to make it back, you won't. While it is not incorrect to consider the world uncertain, as a warrior one should not think of it as uncertain but as totally certain.
Many clever men like you have trusted to civilization. Many clever Babylonians, many clever Egyptians, many clever men at the end of Rome. Can you tell me, in a world that is flagrant with the failures of civilisation, what there is particularly immortal about yours?

The Artisan and the Artist have quite a bit in common - in that they are idiot savants. They have nothing better to spend time on but adding beauty to the world. Such a noble and worthless endeavor.

We need more of it.

Fire may be represented as the destroyer of all sophistry, and as the image and demonstration of truth; because it is light and drives out darkness which conceals all essences.

As soon as you realize everything's a joke, being the comedian is the only thing that makes sense.

On this day in 1915, one hundred men destined to die and never rise again bore the banner of Christ and pushed back 7000 invaders. The attack was impossible, all of them should've died then and there, in a gas attack - but they rose and with their immortality shown, they merely made the enemy run by gaze alone.

Through death to immortality.
I have often thought upon death, and I find it the least of all evils.

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.

Arms dealers perhaps have the cleanest job in the world. What do they do that's so evil, compared to say a pharmaceut, a pornographer? Enable sin? Of what? Murder? Were it not for arms dealers, these people who are already filled with hatred would be biting each other's necks. Arms dealers expedite the process, cut the suffering; they equalize the situation, even the odds. What do pornographers do? Trade in innocent flesh. What do pharmacists do? Trade in snake oil and bolster their profits.

Arms dealers? I'll drink with them, God be my witness.
