A man will fight long and hard for a scrap of colored ribbon.

On this day in 1915, one hundred men destined to die and never rise again bore the banner of Christ and pushed back 7000 invaders. The attack was impossible, all of them should've died then and there, in a gas attack - but they rose and with their immortality shown, they merely made the enemy run by gaze alone.

Through death to immortality.
I have often thought upon death, and I find it the least of all evils.

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.

Arms dealers perhaps have the cleanest job in the world. What do they do that's so evil, compared to say a pharmaceut, a pornographer? Enable sin? Of what? Murder? Were it not for arms dealers, these people who are already filled with hatred would be biting each other's necks. Arms dealers expedite the process, cut the suffering; they equalize the situation, even the odds. What do pornographers do? Trade in innocent flesh. What do pharmacists do? Trade in snake oil and bolster their profits.

Arms dealers? I'll drink with them, God be my witness.

Don't worry about death;
What is good is easy to get, and
What is terrible is easy to endure.
