This week has started with the launch of our new side project: tele.ws (ProductHunt).

tele.ws (think of TELEgram WebSite) is a very simple landing page generator, designed for Telegram-based projects of many kinds (channels, groups, and bots).

As an alternative to t.me, it provides you with some cool extra features:
📝 Tagline, large denoscription
🆒 Multiple buttons for all your channels, groups and bots
🎨 Color themes
🧠 Short address (tele.ws/...)
🔍 SEO settings (coming soon)

Here are the most interesting updates of the rest part of the week:

✅ Invite links rotation: to make it really complicated (almost impossible) to pass an invite link to a someone else, links are now shown for a very small time interval (around 1.5-2 secs) and revoked automatically after that.
✅ Users, who have already joined your private channels and groups are not allowed to request invite links anymore (they don't need them).
✅ When a user clicks to a "Cancel subnoscription" button now he's asked for a confirmation.

✅ You can now edit your subnoscription plan benefits (add/remove what channels/groups are included).
✅ Existing subnoscriptions are now independent of plan updates (even if a plan was deleted, existing customers will keep the access to the benefits they paid for).
✅ You can now see the names of the Multibanco customers in Stripe Dashboard.

Here are some fresh updates of this week:

✅ Now you can create plans for newcomers only (who've never paid you in the past). To do that, create a new subnoscription plan as usual and enable "Newcomers only: ON" in the plan settings.

✅ Now you can create non-recurring plans. For example, you can sell 1-day access (single payment, non-recurring). To do that, create a plan and set "Recurring: OFF" in the plan settings.

✅ Your membership bot built with InviteMember can now understand Plans and Status commands sent by simple text. First one will show subnoscription plan list, the second one will show current subnoscription status as well as Join Channel/Group buttons if a user has access to something.

✅ Your new membership bot users will see Plans and Status buttons at the bottom of the chat with the bot. Existing users can send /start, and these buttons will appear automatically.

✅ "User X has just launched your bot" notifications are now coming from your membership bot with an active link to new user's profile. Open private chat with the new lead instantly!

Free Trial Without Credit Card

We've just rolled out a very cool update. Now you can set up a trial period that doesn't require a credit card!

Such trials can be used not only with Stripe but with Multibanco and CoinPayments as well. Please note that free trial can only be used once and it's not available for users that made any payments or had any subnoscriptions in the past. So trial periods are "newcomers only" by design.

Access Codes — Accept Payments In A Semi-Automated Way

We're about to release a new feature that will allow you to accept payments in a semi-automated way. This feature is designed for users, who can't use automated payment methods like Stripe or CoinPayments.

Here is how it works:
1. Accept a payment manually (p2p bank transfer, cash, whatever).
2. Generate an Access Code in InviteMember and send it to your customer.
3. Your customer will use this code in your membership bot to activate his subnoscription.

With Access Codes the payment processing part is done manually, while membership management part is automated. Your customers will receive renewal reminders and will be kicked when the subnoscription period is over.

Access Codes feature is in private beta at the moment, if you wish to try it — please, request an invite.

Hide and show your special offers with just a few clicks

You can now disable a subnoscription plan to hide it from your membership bot users. In the future, you can re-enable the plan to make it visible again.

These changes will affect new payments and subnoscriptions only. If there's a recurring subnoscription (created with Stripe, for example), it won't be canceled automatically.

List of Clients

We're excited to announce that now you can easily list your active and past subscribers. The list will include links to user profiles, all their payments, free trials, and subnoscriptions.

To list your clients, open your project in @InviteMemberBot, click Telegram Bot and then List clients. The list will be sent to you from your membership bot (that will make user profile links clickable).

This update is the first step to fully fledged dashboards for even easier membership management and analytics.

Recent updates from InviteMember

✅ You can now broadcast messages of all types: photos, gifs, stickers, audios, voice notes, videos, video notes, documents, locations, etc. (Project > Telegram bot > Broadcast).

✅ Your bot is now showing invite links in the same message ("Join channel/group" button is replaced with invite link for 3 seconds). A customer should simply double-click the button to get inside.

✅ We've implemented a new algorithm for showing invite links. It's more user-friendly but less secure (no more errors like "the invite link is invalid or expired"). If you wish to try it out, please contact @InviteMemberSupportBot.

✅ Your bot is now asking for email when someone is starting his free no-CC trial.

✅ If you've enabled no-cc free trial for a subnoscription plan, your bot will show it as the only payment option to the new users (to avoid confusion).

Banning users in your membership bot

If someone behaves badly, you can now ban that person in just a few seconds.

Just open your membership bot and type:

/ban XXX

Where XXX — Telegram userId (you can find it in Telegram Bot > List users or in @userinfobot).

To unban, use:

/unban XXX
