Al-Nawawi (رحمه الله) said in Sharh Muslim: The scholars said: Nardasheer means nard (dice). Nard is a Persian word that has been Arabized. Sheer means sweet. This hadeeth was quoted as evidence by al-Shaafa’i and a number of scholars as evidence that playing with dice is haraam. What is meant by “dipping his hand in the flesh and blood of a pig” is when he is eating it, so it is likening the prohibition on dice to the prohibition on flesh and blood of pigs.

Shaykh Ahmad Jibril said: Games that involve the use of dice are haraam even if it's not gambling. There is several ahadith on it, and it's the opinion of the four imams.

RE: Our Brother Musa C

‎For all those who have taken “The Atlantic” report, which was written on the “authority” of a Kafir journalist — and used it to label brother Musa C with apostasy, then know you have fallen into a major and grave sin, of which will be held over you neck on the Day of Judgement (unless you repent). Allah تعالى says:

‎يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن جَآءَكُمۡ فَاسِقٌۢ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓاْ أَن تُصِيبُواْ قَوۡمًۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٍ فَتُصۡبِحُواْ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلۡتُمۡ نَٰدِمِينَ

‎{O you who believe! If a Fâsiq (liar - evil person) comes to you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done.}

‎How dare brothers take news from a Kafir article, about their brother, known for his love of Muslims, as “absolute proof,” for his apostasy of all things! To add insult to injury, to use this “report” as the basis to publicly label a Muslim as a Murtad, والعياذ بالله. Do you not know of the consequence of the one who slanders a chaste woman with her chastity without producing 4 witnesses?!

‎وَٱلَّذِينَ يَرۡمُونَ ٱلۡمُحۡصَنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَأۡتُواْ بِأَرۡبَعَةِ شُهَدَآءَ فَٱجۡلِدُوهُمۡ ثَمَٰنِينَ جَلۡدَةً وَلَا تَقۡبَلُواْ لَهُمۡ شَهَٰدَةً أَبَدًاۚ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ

‎{And those who accuse chaste women, and produce not four witnesses, flog them with eighty stripes, and reject their testimony forever. They indeed are the Fâsiqûn (liars, rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).}

‎Slandering a brother known for his love of Muslims, with apostasy, is worse than slandering a chaste Muslim woman with Zina, so min Babi awla the testimony of such a person, who openly accuses and doubles down on labeling a brother as an apostate, whilst knowing he has nothing but a Kafir “report” as proof — be rejected (let alone be propped up as some prolific self-proclaimed expert in Islamic Sciences).

‎To make it clear, I’ve spoken to the brother myself, and verified the falseness of this “report.” Keep the brother in your Duā, assume the best in your Muslim brother, and leave him alone for the time being.

‎“When an oppressed says:

‎حَسْبُنَا اللَّـهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
‎HasbunAllaahu wa ni’mal Wakeel

‎It means he took the case out of all worldly courts and filed it in the court of Allah.”

The Allāmah, the one who acts upon what he preaches — our beloved Shaykh Ahmad Musa Jibril (حفظه الله تعالى). A man we’ve seen endure mountainous tests as a result of his unwavering Da’wah to Tawheed, with his trials only increasing him in resolve and steadfastness نحسبه كذالك والله حسيبه. Even during the peak of his tests, you’ll never hear him say anything regarding them except, “Alhamdulillah.”

‎Through out the years, there have been coordinated attacks between the disbelievers and Munāfiqeen alike, which has yielded no progress in extinguishing the Da’wah of the Shaykh. To the contrary and likewise their dismay, the love, respect, and exposure of the Shaykh’s Da’wah has only expanded further and further, spanning now from the east to the west.

‎To put it in perspective, the same hypocrites who unleash their tongues in slander, are the ones given visas to travel all across the world, are allowed to open up Masājid in lands where governments are open enemies of Islam, attend and speak at international conferences, spread their Da’wah whilst receiving “counter-terrorism” funds and grants, and much more. These same people want you to believe they’re upon the “Methodology of the Salaf,” and the one who has unheard of restrictions placed upon him due to his Deen, has been targeted, lied against, and prevented from traveling freely — all because his Da’wah, is somehow upon the “Manhaj of the Khawarij.”

‎Think to yourself, which condition is more like the Prophet and His Sahābah during the early years of The Da’wah. These slanderous Munāfiqeen, or the Shaykh حفظه الله تعالى.

‎The masses have realized that the persistent and baseless name-calling and slander by those whose Manhaj is synonymous with Nifāq — holds no weight, especially when for over 30+ years, they’ve yet to produce a single evidence based academic refutation. Rather, the culmination of decades of their “refutations,” comes up to be nothing more than grade school name-calling, baseless lies, and fairytale accusations, and the occasional red-paint-through-the-eyes picture — which in and of itself, should tell you all you need to know about the Manhaj and Aqeedah of the Shaykh. They don’t dare go on record quoting the Shaykh verbatim and within context, and then prove by citing the Salaf (or even the classical scholars), just how the Shaykh contradicts the Aqeedah of Ahlul Sunnah. This is an open challenge, but I won’t hold my breath.

‎We ask Allah to guide those whom are sincere amongst their misguided, and show us a day in which the arrogant amongst them are made examples of, in a way that brings a coolness and ease to the hearts of the Believers.
