We normally do not post anything other than Islamic European History, however we can not ignore putting the current events at light. If you have missed it, then I recommend looking up what is currently happening in Palestina because of acts of horror by the Israeli Occupation Forces. The Article above can show you some information!

BOSNIAK MUJAHIDEEN WHO DEFENDED MASJID AL AQSA
In the midst of Palestinian War in 1948, a group of Bosnian Muslims, mostly made out of Handschar soldiers who emigrated to Arab countries after WWII because they couldn't return to their homeland because they would be executed by the Communist government.
One of them, Abdurrahman from Bosnia, is said to have recited surah Ikhlas, Falaq, Nas, and rubbed his hands down his body while reciting Ayatul Kursi and reciting "BismiLlahi’lladhi la yadurru ma’asmihi shay’un fi’l-ardi wa la fi’s-sama’i wa huwa’s-Sami’u’l-‘Alim" (In the name of Allah by whose name nothing in the earth or the heaven can be harmed. He is the Hearing, the Knowing). And like that went to battle against the Zionist soldiers countless times without any harm befalling him.

When the Jordanian army got orders to retreat Abdurrahman and several soldiers from Egypt refused to retreat and said: "They won't enter Al Aqsa other than over my dead body."
One of the Egyptian soldiers said this: "There were less soldiers than the windows on the mosque, so we changed locations and shot from each until Abdurrahman didn't say to Abdullah Tal, the Jordanian commander:
-How will you retreat and leave behind you Masjid Al Aqsa.
-Those are the orders
-Give me two crates of bombs, machine guns and some ammunition, I will climb the minaret and when they enter I will open fire until they kill me.
Because of these young men the Zionist army couldn't take Al Aqsa and it stayed under Muslim control for the next two decades.

These Bosniak soldiers were so brave that whenever Arab army had trouble they were sent in to help.
In one instance during which commander Abd al-Qadir al-Husayni was made a martyr, when the Zionist army encircled the Arab army, Arabs asked for help and they were sent 5 of these Bosniak soldiers and they broke through the Zionist circle.
"Palestinian Post" wrote about one of these Bosniak soldiers, Jusuf Begovic from Pale near Sarajevo after their journalist Emilio Traubner found his war journal. In that journal he depicts battles against Zionist army and one of the things he wrote was.
"Us 35 Bosniaks, Bosnian muslims will be the first who will through jihad defend Jerusalem and liberate Tel Aviv."

When Muslim Spain was in a state of glory, the rulers of the independent Christian states were forced to submit to pay the Jizya and hold the Muslim ruler in awe and respect. Their was no fighting between them due to the agreed upon dominance of the Muslims. In an effort to kiss up to the Muslim ruler, a Christian leader warmly welcomed and led the emissary of the Muslim ruler on a tour of his country. During the tour, the emissary came to know that in a certain Church, a Muslim woman was being held hostage by monks. Upon returning to Córdoba, he informed the ruler (Muhammad Ibn Abi ‘Aamir) of this, who then prepared an entire army of Muslimeen which he himself led against the Christian state, plundering through cities all along the way until he reached the Palace of the Christian ruler who came out disheveled and in distress, crying at the feet of the Khalifa, begging to know what wrong he had committed to earn his anger. Ibn Abi ‘Aamir informed him of the imprisoned Muslimah and demanded her immediate release. The French king released her immediately and had the church which held her hostage razed to the ground.

And here we are, typing away, while our sisters remain hostages in the camps. May Allah paralyze the hand which reaches towards them intending harm and humiliation. Allahumma Ameen

Lyrics of a Bosnian song "Šehidi", the song speaks about the martyrs who have fallen during the Bosnian War in the 1990s
"Shahids, hey precious
where are you ?
By the fountain
there is towel embroided.
And the pitcher, hey
that we are made of.
Shahids, hey precious,
where are you ?
Shahids, hey Beloved
where are you ?
In the dust hey
there is a trace of naked feet.
Who prays now, hey
on the grey carpets ?
Shahids, hey Beloved
where are you ?
Shahids, hey fragranced
where are you ?
By the villages hey
are your castles ( graves ) in Bosnia.
In the garden hey
like cut down flowers.
Shahids, hey fragranced
where are you ?
Shahids, hey white birds
where are you ?
Like swallows going south
you are full of joy.
Like a set of stars hey in beads
you are flickering.
Shahids hey white birds
where are you ?"

Today we will celebrate that Ratko Mladic, the 'butcher of Bosnia,' lost this appeal against genocide conviction. But we should not forget those that were murdered during the genocide of the Muslims in Yugoslavia.. Men, women, elderly and children, undiscriminate murder by the Serbian paramilitaries.
May Allah accept them all,
Amin
