Comer, Oversight Committee Republicans to Hold Press Conference on Investigation into the Biden Family’s Business Schemes

WASHINGTON—House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), along with lawmakers from the panel, will hold a press conference on Wednesday, May 10 at 9:00 a.m. ET to provide an update on the investigation into the Biden family’s influence peddling to enrich themselves and announce next investigative actions.

Background: The Oversight Committee is investigating the Biden family’s influence peddling enterprise to determine if the Biden family has been targeted by foreign actors, if President Biden is compromised, and if there is a national security threat. The Committee has already obtained thousands of pages of financial records related to the Biden family and their associates’ transactions. Recently, the Committee revealed one deal that resulted in several members of the Biden family and their companies receiving over $1 million in more than 15 incremental payments from a Chinese company through a third party.
