Corporate America has decided that Mother’s Day is too much of a sensitive, challenging, and difficult time, so they are inviting their email list subscribers to opt out of emails related to the “triggering” day. This includes: Kroger owned Frys Food, Kay Jewelers, Hallmark, Doordash, Nespresso, Levis, Ancestry.com, MAC Cosmetics, Stitchfix, Buybuybaby, and many more.
Listen, I know many of you have lost your mothers and that is a deep wound. In fact here’s a reality check - at some point almost ALL of us will lose our mother before God takes us home. Does that mean we need to ban a day honoring mothers altogether?
