A local citizen filmed the aftermath of one of such attacks.
Given the patriotism and appreciation of national symbols by Bolsonaro supporters, the mere Brazilian national flag has become synonymous with supporting the Right-wing President.

When Konnech sued… the FBI “stood down” and refused to testify on their behalf about the facts of the case.
