We should do our best to refrain from trusting in man no matter how righteous they may appear
Our trust should be soley in the Lord Jesus Christ and the hope of His great return

There is indeed a rebellious age coming where mankind will glorify itself above the “old/ancient gods” from the “outdated” religions of old
This will include the true God of the Bible, who will be seen as an evil demiurge who trapped mankind in a ‘matrix,’ and whose followers must be stamped out by the newly “awakened” masses
This will be the persecution of the saints who keep the commandments of Christ
We (believers) will be seen as “holding humanity back from achieving worldwide spiritual enlightenment/evolution” (Elevated Consciousness)
The occult sees Lucifer, or the serpent, as the bringer of knowledge and intellect— mankind’s “awakener” who freed humanity from their ‘prison’ in the garden, and initiated them into the gnostic mysteries

Along with Lucifer, the new age honors the entire host of fallen angels/false gods as benefactors of mankind, who helped us “evolve” out of our “animal state”
This is why they want you questioning your Bible
