⚡️Huawei Faces ‘Severe Sanctions’ In Bipartisan US Bill

The US Senate has introduced a bipartisan bill restricting the access to US banks of Huawei and other “untrustworthy” Chinese 5G operators, which it accuses of attempting economic espionage.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said Beijing “firmly opposes the US’ generalization of the concept of national security, [and its] abuse of state power to suppress Chinese enterprises”.

The bill was introduced by Republican Sen Tom Cotton, who insisted: "We cannot allow Huawei and the Chinese Communist Party to have access to Americans' personal data and our country's most sensitive defense systems.”
