Is it possible to turn humans into monsters if they are exposed to faulty energy?

Physically? No Mentally? Yes. The easiest way to do so is through phycological conditioning. With enough time a human can both see themselves as a monster and commit monstrous actions.

I think the most curious aspect of the digital demon conspiracy is the relation between fiction and reality. Both are of course separate however they build upon one another in unique ways. For instance, 1929's Frau im Mond (fiction) inspired Van Brawn to study rocketry and eventually led humanity to repeat the actions that were once fiction. Once real the events of the moon landing inspired more fictional works about space, which then led to more inventions.

Fiction has power over humanity. Media (or the 1's and 0's you see online) do have the power to mentally change your thoughts and emotions. With enough dedication, purposefully or not one can become a monster.
Sexual conditioning and fetishistic material can easily become classical conditioning.

The digital demon concept really hits seeing the rise in therianthropy (the ever more common belief that one person is not human) among IT related crowds. For some reason more and more people see themselves as non-human after long term internet exposure...
