How this creepy photo was solved 10 years later
In 2015 someone uploaded this Barney photo on Reddit and said "A creepy photo of my friend when he was young"
It scared kids and people used it in memes. 10 years later YouTuber Impcommander U/SavantCircle explained in a comment that the kid in the photo is actually him as a kid and that he doesn't know why they had someone in a Barney costume. Then, the lost media YouTuber Rookie interviewed Impcommander and he explains everything.
He said that his friend posted this on Reddit likely to scare kids and that he randomly found it in his scrapbook. He also said that they were visiting his grandpa and found the creepy Barney
The creepy Barney was actually an empty costume and not a mascot or kidnapper. His dad says he wouldn't got him near if they had someone walking around in a Barney costume. And this photo is now no longer as unsettling as it was
