🇮🇱❌🇬🇷 The Jerusalem Municipality has frozen the bank accounts of the Jerusalem Patriarchate and demands the Orthodox Church to pay taxes, just like during Ottoman rule.

The current situation has serious implications as the Jerusalem Patriarchate is unable to pay salaries to clergymen, teachers and other staff.
