Little update on Durov cyka blyat

- Durov was arrested at an airport north of Paris under a warrant for offences related to the app, according to officials.

- The judge extended his detention from 24 to 96 hours, which is the maximum. At the end of the 96 hours they will have to release him or charge him officially.

Notable facts:
- Telegram was banned in Russia in 2018, the ban was reversed in 2021.
- Durov left Russia in 2014 after refusing to comply with russian government demands to shut down opposition communities on his VKontakte social media platform, which he sold.
- Durov also refused (as he says) to hand over private data of ukrainians to russian government.
- Telegram is based in Dubai. Durov holds citizenship of the United Arab Emirates and France.
