In 2020, I raised $450k to Kim Klacik’s $8 million, in Joe Biden’s home state, with Amy Schumer and Captain Freaking America Campaigning against me, and STILL garnered 40% of the vote to her 23%.

It’s not the fact that she duped donors into giving her money, it’s the fact that Kim didn’t use the money entrusted to her to even campaign in her own district, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on out-of-state speaker engagements and private jets.

This evening we begin the observance of Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar & the conclusion of our High Holy Days. On this day each yr, Jews fast & pray. We ask others for forgiveness & reflect carefully on our own behavior & actions.

Depending on how we act during Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur, our fate for the year is decided, & if we have lived well, we are inscribed in the Book of Life.

Yom Kippur is a chance to deepen our relationship with God through the practice of teshuva, or repentance. As it says in Leviticus: "For on this day shall atonement be made for you, to cleanse you; from all your sins shall ye be clean before the Lord."

I encourage politicians in Washington to ask forgiveness from the American people for their many sins against us.
