We have finally investigated and resolved the issue of Gboard causing bootloop in Gapps builds and to the conclusion we have re-included Gboard in Gapps builds overriding AOSP Keyboard..

So every build dated 07/04/2025 or after this will include Gboard instead of AOSP keyboard in gapps builds

As we know dirty flashing from aosp keyboard build to google keyboard build is a bit problematic and requires clean flash or there will be "no keyboard" issue..

Here are workarounds to make it work with a dirty flash

1. Wipe /product/app/LatinIME with help of root or custom recovery before flashing the new build (which include Gboard)
2. [RECOMMENDED] Flash/Sideload this zip in recovery before flashing the new build

These above methods would save you from "no keyboard" issue which will occur if you don't clean flash the new build containing Gboard..

Even the current v2.6 Gapps build users can flash this zip in recovery to get Google keyboard overriding the AOSP keyboard.
