We got 4.8⭐️ from 18 testers, but one person gave me 2 😭 would’ve been nice if they shared what went wrong. for example one user said "Mobile responsiveness and make it open source" and still gave us 4.8 feedback like that helps a lot.

One of the stupidest things i’ve ever done [buying ethiotelecom unlimited package again🤦‍♂️]

i’ve been noticing that ethiotelecom’s internet data packages almost stop working after 8:00 PM. i don’t know what i was thinking i just bought another monthly unlimited package today😭, and now it’s not working. even to post this, i have to switch my phone between flight mode on and off😭.
you know what’s crazy? i have to sleep early because of this.

Now I’m missing my campus WiFi, man🥲(only few weeks left🙂)

Finally,

This year I started a new behavior: not attending class at all. First semester, I only went the first week, then missed the whole semester🙂‍↔️.

Then second semester hit. The head of department changed, and guess who it was? Our lecturer from first semester😩. He was pissed off by how many students weren’t taking class seriously. After he became head, everything changed. Every lecturer started giving quizzes. I just stopped caring about quizzes🙌.

Then students told me one of the lecturers was taking attendance seriously. So I went one day. When he was calling attendance, he skipped my name and said:
“Yaw Mesay yelama.”
I said, “Alew.”
He replied, “What? we need to talk”

After the class ended, he said to me, “Abaririhalew.” ... ngl that ruins my day man🤕

I wasn’t sure whether to take the final or just leave it, but in the end I sat for the exam. Another teacher warned us, “for those of us who missed three quizzes. If you score below a B, I’ll give you an F.” Bro… I already had 0/20. How was I supposed to pull off a B?😮‍💨

Anyways, I passed both. Just one course left next year I’ll officially be 4th year😉

what now? => next year maybe I won’t even show up on campus at all ... just kidding😅.

⚠️ PS: By no means am I appreciating missing class. Even though I miss classes, I study well for the mid and final exams, and my grades are not that bad either.🙌

A2SV-Africa To Silicon Valley

I heard that A2SV has officially moved its headquarters to Rwanda, and also the project phase at AAiT which we’ve been working on for more than 6 months is on hold😔. Meanwhile, they’re still continuing in ASTU and AASTU.

To be honest, joining A2SV has been one of the best things that happened to me. It completely changed who I was into who I am today, and I’m truly grateful for that. I’ll never forget the person who helped me join A2SV even though I knew almost nothing about programming back then, he treated me kindly, like he’d known me for a long time. I owe him a lot🙏.

What makes A2SV special isn’t just the education it’s the environment they create with people who share the same dream and work ethic. I’ve realized that skill alone isn’t enough; the connections you build with others really matter. I even got my first big job thanks to someone I met through A2SV one of the nicest and chillest people I know who gave me a chance🫡.

Joining A2SV helped me grow, learn, and connect deeply with amazing people. Honestly, spending two years in A2SV (one year digging into DSA and one year in the project phase) taught me more than what I’ve learned in this campus so far.

It’s sad to hear about the issues with AAU’s bureaucracy. 2 years ago you know what they have done to us,they kicked us out of the dorms during the summer camp phase😁ayi AAU.🤦‍♂️

My advice to AAU students who want to join A2SV: even if in-person learning might not happen, go for the online option. If you’re really committed, it’s absolutely worth it. Who knows maybe one day A2SV will reach a new agreement with AAU.

i don’t know why GMail didn’t mark this email as spam. Most of the time, i check where an email is coming from, but today, in a split second, i saw the email and clicked the “Confirm Email” button. The tab hadn’t even loaded yet, so i immediately closed it and reported it as phishing. Then GMail placed it under spam.

i have no experience in hacking, but i know a little about most of the topic.

For anyone familiar with this stuff am i safe now?😢
