The inquiry is focusing on:

(a) the efficacy of community engagement and benefit in planning, developing and operating the offshore wind industry;

(b) community engagement within the existing Australian Government offshore wind industry regulatory and legislative frameworks;

(c) the adherence to the principles of Free, Prior and Informed Consent from Traditional Owners of the affected Sea Country by the Australian Government and offshore wind industry;

(d) the impact of the offshore wind industry on marine life and marine environments in Australian waters, including strategies for impact minimisation and management; and

(e) any other related matters.

As City of Joondalup electors or anyone outside Joondalup Shire who wish to submit a comment on the Draft Climate Change Plan 2024-2034, the deadline is on 4th Sept 2024.

The Mayor is pushing for LED streetlights which will save money and have lower green house gas emission. LED lighting system is the basis for intellectual urban infrastructure ie. SMART City. Each one is a mini router and will emit RF.

I submitted a question on energy use re SMART network via LED and 5G at yesterday's council meeting, the response was the City does not manage 5G communications networks and greenhouse gas emissions do not get reported.

$12 to16M for LED streetlights and $3.3M for Power Purchase Agreement through WALGA (CEO deemed this this a confidential document that councillors are not allowed to see)! Council passed a motion to view this last month. The spending should be kept within the City of Joondalup to benefit ratepayers.

Please make submissions, otherwise, only people who are passionate about unsustainable industrial renewable projects will get heard.

We, as parents, grandparents, aunties, uncle's and concerned members of the community are pushing back against the sexualization of children in society and education.
