Four days to OPPOSE the proposed ‘CASH ACCEPTANCE’ regulations!
We only have this week to get submissions to the Department of Treasury that show we know the proposed ‘Cash Acceptance’ regulations are a SHAM. Act Now!
You don't have to be an accomplished author. Just one or two sentences reflecting your genuine concern can make an impact.
1. Make a submission by 31 Oct at:

Use the submission to tell Jim Chalmers:
▪️ The cash mandate needs to apply to ALL physical retailers.
▪️ The current proposal leaves out medicines, housing, utility bills and many other essential items we need to LIVE. The cash mandate needs to apply to ALL ESSENTIALS.
▪️ The current proposal is clearly designed to allow retailers to reject cash payments.
▪️ Supermarkets need to have at least 50% of their terminals ready to accept cash.
▪️ The $500 limit is TOO LOW. There's plenty of essential bills we pay that cost more than $500.
2. Contact ALL your state senators and your local member of parliament. This is important. Tell them a Motion of Disallowance is likely to come from the House or Senate and urge them to support it to defeat these proposed regulation changes.

The WA Off Grid & Tiny Homes Lifestyle Expo 2025 is now at Taylor Reserve, McCallum Park. It's a switch of venue, but the dates are identical : 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th November.
We stagger our entry to avoid overcrowding and huge queues.
We have a speaker hall with lots of helpful information

🚨🚨🚨 From 10 December, you and I could be forced into a nationwide Digital ID just to post our views on social media. And a Digital ID is all about tracking, monitoring, and control. This is happening because the Liberal National Coalition backed Labor’s social media age verification laws.
Unless the Libs and Nats withdraw their support for this bad law now, it will be almost impossible to unwind.
I’ve just signed a petition demanding that the Liberals and Nationals drop their support for social media age verification and back a full repeal of it immediately.
Can you spare a minute to sign it as well before Digital ID becomes our new normal?
