Dowd’s Wall Street career includes 10 years as an equity fund manager at Blackrock, but more recently he has been using his finance background to analyse what is happening to the markets and the world today.

In December, Dowd published the book “Cause Unknown: The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 & 2022,” examining the recent epidemic of sudden deaths. In 2021, he noticed a rise of news anecdotes about sudden deaths among fit athletes and other seemingly healthy young people across the USA.
