I hinted recently I'm preparing to share on touch and how it cultivates life, and of course Chris shows up in my research.
What touched my heart and soul in this short clip, is remembering how simple IT IS to feel seen, heard, valued and cared for by being noticed and held.
I myself have felt a deficit of conscious, loving touch on all levels throughout my life, and yet I crave and search for it more than any other desire.
I bet all of us do too, just look at what movies, songs, and poems are about... we're all just desiring to be seen, loved and held.
AND, the longer I go without the touch my body NEEDS to thrive, the more the chaos inside swirls around.
With historically few places to consciously land these desires for physical connection, today I embark on a deepening of my own journey of reconnecting through conscious touch with a trusted brother.
AND, also noticing that the things that inspire me to share on, are the very medicines my soul is searching for...
Every
Single
Time
Listening to what my body is asking for has been the greatest gift and teacher as I am able to give appropriate medicine, vs being on a wild goose chase.
Trust your body and desires, even when they seem to not "make sense", stay with them with curiosity and see where they lead.
And remember:
The desire for touch must be landed in the physical realm with other humans; it is NOT going to be found in your distractions, addictions, A.I., the Metaverse, religion, or acting like we aren't human and don't need physical touch for survival...literal survival.
