Downtown: Hundreds gathering in front of LA Unified School District HQ where the School Board meeting is ongoing to pressure the board to pass a motion to defund the LASPD by 50%. Beaudry Ave has been shut down by protestors.
Downtown: Students, LAUSD teachers, and Black Lives Matter LA organizers are addressing the crowd.
The LAUSD Board just voted 4-3 to defund the LASPD by $25M (35%)
