DTLA: Cops filming protestors back
DTLA: LAPD officer asks if the use of "less than lethal" weapon has been approved yet, receives negative response. Allegedly only “normal use of force" is approved.
um there’s apparently a bus on fire at Temple and Los Angeles
DTLA: LAPD reports skirmish line pushing up the steps of City Hall
DTLA: Until protest at City Hall has been declared unlawful, LAPD will hold the line instead of making arrests.
DTLA: Intersection at Temple and Broadway blockaded by LAPD
DTLA: LAPD officer asks if use of less than lethal is authorized against group with umbrellas, response is that less than lethal is approved

DTLA: LAPD kettling grand park in front of City Hall. Several officers splintered off into Civic Center Red Line Station on Temple

DTLA: LAPD skirmish line on Spring/Temple being redirected to follow white truck with protestors, which they will attempt to impound
DTLA: Unconfirmed sightings of teargas in addition to rubber bullet projectiles + more LAPD vehicles arriving at Spring and a # of others appearing to gear up but standoff continues.
DTLA/GRAND PARK: In addition to 3 tow trucks that had been called in, LAPD appear to be ticketing vehicles parked on Spring. Unclear whether tow trucks have been specifically instructed to tow ticketed vehicles so car owners otg may want to stay alert
(FYI: should your car be among the unlucky ones towed, it is likely headed toward to DOT Central Division 323-224-6565 on Mission wooooooof)
LA Action Updates
DTLA: Unconfirmed sightings of teargas in addition to rubber bullet projectiles + more LAPD vehicles arriving at Spring and a # of others appearing to gear up but standoff continues.
LA: Per LATimes report posted at 9:15pm citywide tactical alert had been declared earlier in response to DTLA action. Though a few LAPD units have since been demobilized, some remain posted at the same place monitoring protestors.
