Husband of DA Jackie Lacey has been charged with 3 counts of misdemeanor assault with a firearm in connection with a March incident caught on video in which he waved a gun at protestors outside of the couple’s home

Downtown: BLMLA speakers addressing crowd of 100 at Jackie Lacey Must Go weekly protest. Heavy 🐷 presence.

Downtown: LAPD reports that Jackie Lacey protest is wrapping up, but still has a large crowd in front of the Hall of Justice. As a smaller group of marchers heads south on Spring from Temple, LAPD reports plans to follow from behind.

Downtown: Reports of undercover LAPD in the crowd at Hall of Justice wearing suits and no masks 👀

Downtown: LAPD reports that vehicles have joined the protestors and inquires about motorcyclists seen the week prior. The motorcyclists are not present.

Downtown: LAPD monitoring group at Grand Park. Requested that those monitoring report back if group disbands or goes back “to their normal picnic activities”

Downtown: 200 gathered in Grand Park protesting with Black Unity LA after LASD allegedly threatened to raid the 24 hour protest this week

Downtown: Spokesperson for LAPD has stated they will act if Parks & Recs asks. Parks & Recs spokesperson says the Mayors office is responsible for Grand Park
