But what is even more rare is connection between Anne Applebaum, wife of Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Radoslaw Sikorski, and Nora Maccoby. They grew up in the same neighborhood, attended same school, socialized together as adults with Nora’s sister Annie Maccoby who is on the other hand married to Swedish banker and economist Erik Berglof.
