I don't think there's been another writer, that has been as prolifically prophetic as Philip K. Dick.
One of my inspirations as a writer (the other is Lovecraft) this is an amazing speech.

The curious synchronicity of Philip K. Dick - Modern Intuitionist
To compliment the above speech, this video details some of his weird synchronicities that he experienced and is something that I have experienced, as I was writing the narrative paths for my Legion Saga novel series.
Very spooky feeling and a little unsettling too. It was his own synchronicities, that drew me to him as an author and then as an inspiration.
