Telegram seems to unprecedentedly limit the growth of some political and news channels, following Meta’s path—yet few noticed.

WHAT’S HAPPENING:
The "similar channels" feature has been disabled for many channels, cutting off a key source of new subscribers. Some shadowbanned channels are also missing from search results. Check if your channel is affected.

REASON:
A BBC article and "study" claim Telegram promotes "extremist content, such as anti-government conspiracies, antisemitism, or white nationalism" through "similar channels." Also, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov, under judicial supervision in France, may also face pressure to impose censorship.

ACTION REQUIRED NOW:
Demand answers from Telegram. The support team remains silent, but you can raise concerns on Telegram’s bug forum. Let’s stop Telegram from becoming another Meta.

It's great to see Elon Musk raising awareness of Starmer's disgraceful role in the grooming gangs scandal.

But it's ironic that he does so while continuing his ban on my X account.

One other point: Several commentators have pointed out that the Labour 'justice' machine which empowered the groomers also tried to jail me for exposing them.

But everyone is forgetting that there were THREE defendents in the Leeds Free Speech Trial:

Me, for speaking out against grooming; Mark Collett, for slamming the asylum flood, and John Tyndall, for speaking out against immigration in general.

Mark and I were lucky - we were found Not Guilty by two decent Yorkshire juries. But JT wasn't, he died of a heart attack a couple of days before the committal hearing. In other words, the police, courts and media hounded him to death.
