CreepyPasta hot take for people who don't give a shit but I'm posting it anyway:

Laughing Jack is not emo.

His personality & emotions are supposed to mirror Isaac's, like a normal imaginary friend would. It's what he was made to do.. Since Isaac is now dead, Laughing Jack is forever stuck as a cruel, violent, & ruthless being, lusting for violence, but incapable of feeling happiness from it or things that are/were supposed to make him happy. He can't even feel pleasure through his killings or moments of torment. Maybe he can, because Isaac did, but that isn't my point here. He can't feel joy, he can't feel pride, love, it is all gone. All because of Isaac's changed personality.

Isaac's emotions in his last moments of life were anger, & fear. Laughing Jack doesn't seem to convey fear like Isaac did, except when he's confined in tight spaces because of his developed claustrophobia, but he sure as hell can feel anger, & he's stuck showing that emotion & acting upon it.

He has no control over himself.

Even Jill, who is canonically made to be his love interest (NOT HIS SISTER, OR DAUGHTER, OR HIS GENDERBEND) can bring him joy, or make him feel the same love that she feels for him.

He is broken, in every sense of the word, but he is not emo.
