Creationists and Secularists Agree–Earth Will Eventually Be Destroyed
CHRISTIANS AGREE with secularists' warnings that the earth in its fallen state will eventually be destroyed. However, secularists often warn us that humans will destroy the earth by human-caused climate change. Many also say that even if humans somehow don't destroy the earth, it's likely that some large asteroid will one day obliterate us.
“Christians know from the Bible that the earth will be destroyed—but not by climate change or any random extinction event. Rather, the earth will be destroyed by God's intentional judgment (2 Peter 3:7, 10). When Jesus returns in the future, the earth and the whole universe will be judged with fire to make the new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells (2 Peter 3:13).
“Secular scientists are right about another thing: humans are indeed the cause of this coming catastrophic event. Because of man's sin, the whole creation is now groaning and waiting to be made new (Romans 8:20—22).
“We can be confident in God's promise: ‘While the earth remains, seed- time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease’ (Genesis 8:22). Because God determines when the ultimate catastrophe will happen, we can rest assured that neither humanity nor an extinction event is going to destroy the earth before God's time.”

Young Americans Becoming More Compassionate?
“IN 2011, researcher Sara Konrath led a study that exposed a disturbing decline in empathy among young Americans. College students in 2009 reported feeling less empathetic than 75% of students in the 1970s. You might think it's only been downhill since then, judging by how divided our country seems today. But Konrath recently published an update to her findings, revealing that empathy among young Americans is making a comeback.
“Why was empathy on the decline a decade ago, and why is it on the rebound now? We aren't sure. But from an evolutionary perspective, perhaps the bigger question is, why should humans be empathetic at all? Psychology professor Jamil Zaki theorizes,
‘Human beings pay more attention to negative news compared to positive events. This makes evolutionary sense: it's safe to ignore a sunset, but not a tsunami.’ Evolution requires us to focus on the bad for the survival of our species. Zaki believes this bias could also cause people to see the worst rather than the best in others.
“But from a biblical worldview, Christians have a higher calling. Kindness— and with it, compassion—is a fruit of the Spirit. Philippians 4:8 commands us to think on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, and excellent. We must recognize the evil in the world that exists because of our sin, but we must also remember that God is good and is still at work all around us. As we look for the lovely, may we love people enough to compassionately point them to Jesus.”

What Darwin Got Wrong (Jerr_ (Z-Library).pdf
1.7 MB
Jerry Fodor and Massimo Piatelli-Palmarini, a distinguished philosopher and scientist working in tandem, reveal major flaws at the heart of Darwinian evolutionary theory. They do not deny Darwin's status as an outstanding scientist but question the inferences he drew from his observations. Combining the results of cutting-edge work in experimental biology with crystal-clear philosophical argument they mount a devastating critique of the central tenets of Darwin's account of the origin of species. The logic underlying natural selection is the survival of the fittest under changing environmental pressure. This logic, they argue, is mistaken. They back up the claim with evidence of what actually happens in nature.-
This is a rare achievement – the short book that is likely to make a great deal of difference to a very large subject. What Darwin Got Wrong will be controversial. The authors' arguments will reverberate through the scientific world.

Failure to Find Dark Matter Doesn’t Agree with the Big Bang
“The rotation of stars in the outer parts of galaxies is not what one would expect from the visible mass present. The favoured idea for solving this mystery is that galaxies are surrounded by a halo of 'dark matter', an unknown, unobserved substance providing the 'missing mass'. In fact, the currently favoured big bang model now requires 95% of the universe … to be made up of dark matter and the equally mysterious dark energy (creation.com/dark-energy-elusive). This is needed to reconcile aspects of the cosmic microwave background, and the rate of expansion, with the big bang.

Failure to Find Dark Matter Doesn’t Agree with the Big Bang “The rotation of stars in the outer parts of galaxies is not what one would expect from the visible mass present. The favoured idea for solving this mystery is that galaxies are surrounded by a halo…
“Despite some recent papers suggesting that neither of this dark duo is necessary to explain galaxy dynamics, big bang believers are determined to find dark matter. It is vital because their ‘understanding of physics doesn't work without it.’ Thus, a great effort has gone into looking for dark matter particles. So far, >30 multi-million-dollar underground experiments worldwide have failed to find any.
“Currently, the most sensitive detector in the world (LUX-ZEPLIN) is looking for dark matter in the form of speculated 'weakly interacting massive particles' (WIMPs). Recently it was reported that none have been found. If dark matter doesn't exist, the big bang theory and other assumptions in the mainstream understanding of cosmology lose credibility.”

MIT just completed the first brain scan study of ChatGPT users & the results are terrifying.
Turns out, AI isn't making us more productive. It's making us cognitively bankrupt.

"ChatGPT users had the lowest brain engagement and 'consistently underperformed at neural, linguistic, and behavioral levels'. Over the course of several months, ChatGPT users got lazier with each subsequent essay, often resorting to copy-and-paste by the end of the study".
