GAURD THE KEY TO YOUR HEART

There is no doubt, that The eyes are the pathway to the heart (Your Emān). If you guard your eyes, you will taste the beauty of faith, and likewise if your eyes are loose, you will contribute to the numbness of your heart - until you see the Haram as simply Makruh, and the Sunnah as voluntary, Shirk as difference of opinion, and Tawheed as extremism or Ghulū.

This applies to guarding your eyes from lust, as well as the books of the people of Innovation and Zandaqa.

We seek refuge in Allah from relaxing in our belief and conviction, and ask Allah to make us and keep us firm upon the Millah of Ibrahim, and to die upon it with sincerity.

Alhamdulillah, all of you should have received your Quiz #1 scores by now. May Allah reward you for the effort you put into completing the Quiz, as it was very comprehensive. For those who didn’t do as well as they liked, there’s always next time Insha’Allah! For those who are happy with their scores, don’t settle! Continue to strive and absorb as much information as you can from the Shaykh

May Allah protect and preserve our beloved Shaykh, and grant him a long life full of deeds.
If in your zeal for “female Islāmic scholarship”, you prop up and promote women who are openly Sufī, Ash’arī, and Maturīdī as being ‘Ālimahs and Shaykhas of the highest order who are to be respected and taken from, know that you’re zeal is not for the sake of Allāh, nor for the sake of giving sisters role models and guidance to follow, nor to encourage Akhāwat to seek knowledge, but rather your true intentions are to fulfill a certain feminist agenda or simply to fuel the Western race and competition between genders.

Had it truly been for the sake of Allāh, you wouldn’t have promoted women who are upon Bātil creeds, not even from Ahlus-Sunnah to begin with, to our sisters to misguide them. All you want is to show the world that we, too, have equal representation of genders in positions of authority, specifically religious authority. The single most precious thing is ‘Aqeedah and Tawheed. If you want our sisters to learn and take from women who can’t even get those two things right, and you want them to risk losing their ‘Aqeedah and diluting their Tawheed, just for the sake of promoting “fEMalE SchOLarSHiP”, you need to get your head out of the gutter of feminism and wake up and realize that you’re guiding them to potentially lose the foundation of religion for the sake of something that isn’t half as important as it.

Wallahi we have nothing against women scholars, in fact we’re in dire need of them and it would cool our hearts to see our sisters dedicating themselves to filling this void, BUT never at the expense of putting themselves in situations where they risk their Manhaj and ‘Aqeedah.

In the meantime, we’re content with having only male scholars, as long as they’re strictly upon the Manhaj of the Salaf. One male scholar like that is worth more than thousands of female “scholars” who are from the misguided sects. And one female scholar upon the correct ‘Aqeedah and firm in Tawheed is worth more than countless males “scholars” who are heads and promoters of misguidance.

Gender is not what’s most important here, this isn’t Kindergarten boys vs girls rivalry. It’s creed and steadfastness that matters.

The Week Before Ramadān
| Shaykh Ahmad Jibril (‏

“The week before Ramadān is the most crucial week probably... the Shaytān is gonna be shackled... You know what he’s gonna do in this week? When someone’s going to jail and he’s bad, he’s gonna do all the worst things he can imagine, before he goes.”
— Shaykh AMJ

Before Ramadān comes, do your best to repent from all sins, clean your heart from all grudges towards Muslims, end all disputes and arguments with people, and cut off from everything that will distract you and take away from your focus and worship in the precious moments of Ramadān. Purify yourself and your surroundings now, so that you can enter Ramadān in a high and good state of īmān, and reap its rewards and blessings more than ever, in shā Allāh.

Q. Is ruling by the previous noscriptures (Tawrah, Injīl) permissible to do?

Please explain the incident of when the Jews came to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and he used the Tawrah to judge between them regarding a particular situation.

A. Shaykh Ahmad Jibrīl (حفظه الله) said:

Wa ‘alaykum asalām wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,

As to the question pertaining to ruling by other books, the story of the Jews who came to ask the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) pertaining to the ruling on zinā, that of course is in the Sihāh, but there’s additional 10 verses in the Qur’ān that were revealed pertaining to that story and they start of in Sūrat al-Mā’idah,

“O Messenger! Do not grieve for those who race to disbelieve...” [5:41]

And approximately nine verses if I’m not mistaken after that (Āyāt 41-50). Those verses are clear, nearly every other statement is clear in inferring or directly showing that the ruling was by the rule of the Qur’ān and the ‘Ulamā’ cleared the meaning of those verses. Our Salaf cleared that.

Ash-Shāfi’ī in “al-Umm” said,

“So if they come to you, [O Muhammad], judge between them or turn away from them.” [5:42]

That portion of the verse is disputed among the ‘Ulamā’ whether it’s abrogated or not in its meaning but he said, and if the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) chooses to rule over them, he will rule over them by the قسط as Allāh (سبحانه وتعالى‎) said. And he said that is the rule of Allāh (سبحانه وتعالى‎) revealed to the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and he said it’s not permissible to rule except by the rule of Allāh to the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم).

What rule is the rule of Allah to the Messenger

It’s the rule of the Qur’ān. In fact in “Tafsīr ‘Abdur-Razzāq”, he mentioned that ‘Umar Ibn ‘Abdul-Azīz sent to his governor, he said that if the people of the Book come to you, you rule over them by what’s in the book of Allāh, meaning the Qur’ān.

At-Tabarī, when he mentions,

“So judge between them by what Allah has revealed.” [5:48]

He said it is the rule of Allāh in His book. Which Book? The Qur’ān.

At-Tahāwī said that those verses pertaining to that story that I mentioned in Sūrat al-Mā’idah, Allāh (سبحانه وتعالى‎) ordered His Messenger to rule over them by what’s in our Book and al-Baghawī made it clear, he said some people allege that the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ruled over them by what’s in the Tawrah and that is wrong, al-Baghawī said that is wrong.

He said:

“And judge between them (O Prophet) by what Allah has revealed.” [5:49]

It’s not permissible to think that the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ruled by a book that’s been abrogated which is the Tawrah and left his book which is that book that Allāh (سبحانه وتعالى‎) revealed to him which is the Qur’ān.

But he referred to the Tawrah when he told them bring the Tawrah, “Istighāram”, “Istighāram” means as proof against them because they lied. He wanted to show them that they’re lying and what’s in their books.

And al-Jasās, al-Mawardī, al-Baghawī, Wafā’ Ibn ‘Aqīl, Abu-l Hasan ash-Shāfi’ī, al-Wāhidī, among others clearly said similar statements.

Al-Qurtubī said it’s Ijmā’ among the ‘Ulamā’ that you can’t rule among them, except by what’s in the Qur’ān.

Al-Mawardī al-Basrī said he (the Prophet) ordered them to bring the Tawrah because they denied it was in there, to show them that they were liars and not to rule by what’s in it, because he had already ruled before they even brought the Tawrah.

So if he was going to rule by the Tawrah, he was going to wait until they bought the Tawrah and then he would have ruled. But he had already ruled, meaning he didn’t rule by the Tawrah. He was just trying to show them that their liars in that which is in their Book.

Inshā’Allāh, that clears the issue, if not let me know.

JazākumAllāhu khayr.

Was-salāmu ‘alaykum warahmatullāhi wa barakātuhu.
Things like online Da’wah can possibly elevate you to the highest levels of Jannah or land you in the deepest pits of Hell.

We ask Allāh for safety and well-being.

Intentions need to be examined every millisecond. How fortunate we would be if Allāh was to accept from us and how wretched we would be if we were to come on Yawm Al Qiyāmah to see it all being simply used against us and a means to enter eternal punishment.

May Allāh forgive us.
The oppressive countries in The West, that are the darkest when it comes to the population of Ahlus-Sunnah, give birth to the brightest lanterns of Haqq that serve as beacons of guidance for Ahlus-Sunnah worldwide.

Indeed, Musa عليه السلام was raised in the palace of Fir'awn.

Q. What is better during Ramadan, to recite Quran more or to study it or to memorise it? Which is more preferable?

A. All are noble. The Quran as we know is the rope of Allah from heaven that extended down to the Earth. We should all hold firmly and fast on to His rope. The Quran is not just for recitation, it is the divine laws of Allah - not just the law in your home, but strive to make it the authoritative law of your family and country. The Quran is guidance and justice. Moreover, the Quran is to be pondered upon and contemplated upon. What does that mean? To understand what you’re reciting and listening to. What appears from the evidence is that the Sahabah and Tabieen (May Allah be pleased with them all), in Ramadan they used to leave everything and focus on reciting Quran.

In an authentic narration, we find that Uthmaan ibn ‘Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) would complete the Quran from front to back every single night in Ramadan! But when we mention such narrations of the Sahabah and the righteous predecessors, we must consider that they knew what they were reading, they understood and implemented, along with that they read too. They were knowledgeable regarding it. Ash-Shafi’ee (May Allah have mercy on him) would complete the Quran from front to back twice a day in Ramadan. He was a master in the Arabic language, he was the most fluent scholar in the Arabic language from the Fuqahaa-Al ‘Araba.

Those who are memorising the Quran is good. However, this can be given precedence to for the other 11 months besides Ramadan. There are major rewards up for grab in Ramadan, we must utilise every second of it. As the saying goes, work smart not (just) hard. Prioritise what will gain you more reward. Prioritise! The memorisation of the Quran, studying the Quran and reciting the Quran is from the noblest of deeds, there is good in each and every one of them. However, when you recite there is a reward for each letter, which is massively multiplied in Ramadan.

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will receive one good deed as ten good deeds like it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.”

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Verily, Allah has recorded good and bad deeds and He made them clear. Whoever intends to perform a good deed but does not do it, then Allah will record it as a complete good deed. If he intends to do it and does so, then Allah the Exalted will record it as ten good deeds up to seven hundred times as much or even more…”

The Prophet also said, the one who is skilled and proficient in reciting the Quran, he knows what and how to recite, he will be with the honourable, upright, recording angels. The one who finds it difficult will have a double reward.

“The example of one who recites the Quran and memorizes it is that of one with the ‘righteous and noble scribes’ (80:15). The example of one who recites the Quran and is committed to it, although it is difficult for him, is that of one with a double reward.”

In summary, it is better to recite more Quran in Ramadan, as the good deeds are multiplied generously by Allah. Memorisation and study should be the main focus thereafter, for the rest of the year. The Quran is a treasure that never stops giving. It is to be the authoritative law for yourself, your family, your country, strive to make it that way. It should direct and guide you in every matter of your life, minor and major.

Jibril would come to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم every single year and have him study the Quran with him once. But the year he صلى الله عليه وسلم passed away, he completed and studied it twice with Jibril.

There is another Hadith that mentions the importance of the Quran. Whosoever loves to have Allah love him and the Prophet love him, let him look at the Quran (read it, ponder upon it and implement it). Look and comprehend this Hadith!

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “The example of a believer who recites the Quran is that of a citrus fruit which tastes good and smells good, and one who does not recite the Quran is like a date which tastes good but has no smell. The example of a wicked person who recites the Quran is that of basil which smells good but tastes bitter, and a wicked person who does not recite the Quran is that of a vine which tastes bitter and has no smell.”

How to Greet Ramadān

Greet #Ramadan by washing & waxing ur heart

The soap of the heart is #Quran & thikir!

The wax & shine enters the heart by forgiving Muslims!

— Shaykh Ahmad Jibril
Ibn Al Jawzi (رحمه الله):

"The example of the innate nature of humans and its inclination to this worldly life (instead of the hereafter) is like running water that is always befitting to travel downward because going upward requires (strenuous) exertion."

[Sayyid Al Khatir]
Evil Effects of Public Physical Presence on Social Media (For Sisters)

▸ Sisters photos’ in Niqāb being uploaded to p*rn sites

▸ Males developing fetishes for Niqābis/covered women

▸ Fitnah for brothers in general, possibly leading those who are weak on the path to Zinā’

▸ Inviting the attention of men = putting herself into Fitnah’s way as well

▸ Normalizing the showing off of wealth and clothing (Libās Ash-Shuhra)

▸ Niqābi/"modest" fashion trends developing (contradiction of the Hijāb's purpose)

▸ True meaning of Niqāb/modesty being destroyed due to said trends and displaying oneself without need

▸ Causing Niqābis to lose the aura of respect, honor, and untouchable-ness in public (random men feel more comfortable approaching to converse and make small talk)

▸ Niqāb being used to sexualize the eyes and being seen as something exotic (ex. women, who are not actually Niqābis, putting on elaborate eye makeup and then wearing Niqāb to emphasize focus on the eyes and posing seductively with it, appealing to the orientalist trope of "mysterious veiled beauty of Muslim women". The effects of this reach even sisters who cover properly and don't do such)

▸ Disrespecting the covering of the Mothers of Believers by turning it into mask for anonymity online and nothing more

▸ The sanctity of the Niqāb is desecrated as an increasing number of women hop on the trend of donning it online (for anonymity and aesthetic purposes) while broadcasting their major sins and openly committing unspeakable immodest acts and indecency. As such, the Niqāb is no longer seen as a symbol of a modest, pious Muslimah, but rather it is now starting to be seen as nothing but an accessory that has various purposes/reasons.

As the years go by, the list only gets longer, wAllahul Musta'ān. It's come to the point that one cannot even openly point out and forbid the evil and indecency that some women are committing with it on, because even just speaking about publicly would make one shy.

May Allah guide these sisters and their Dayouth Mahrams/husbands.

What is the ruling on a Muslim befriending a Kāfir? What about befriending a Fāsiq (open sinner), or a Mubtadi’ (person of corrupt ‘aqīdah or bid’ah) like the Murji’ah, Modernists, Surūris, etc.?
