The permanency of the internet is a constant reminder that our hearts are between Allah's Fingers. How often we come across posts that we recognize from many years ago, remembering exactly who penned it, and also remembering that they had since turned their backs on the Manhaj.

Some were tested through trials and failed, others lost the emotion that had driven them to the path, and others were only in it when they saw the material victories and prominence, and as that dwindled, so did their faith. Too many examples to count.

يا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلوبنا على دينك


One should take a look at himself and fear falling prey to the same predicament. Today I may be saying truth, and tomorrow that truth may serve as a proof against me on Yawm Al Qiyamah, and I will be used as an example others will take heed from, unless Allah has mercy on me.

Never forget: If you're not constantly engaging in Tazkiyyat an-Nafs and renewing your intention every step of the way, you WILL go down the same path. None of us are special, you work to keep your place, it's not granted.

A question to the walking paradox; “The modest, modern muslimah”, what kind of da’wah are you giving?

If your da’wah includes anything other than beneficial knowledge/reminders fillāh, then one must question their sincerity. Is this really for Allāh or is to for fame and a name, and to please His slaves?

How could any reasonable person with intellect think for a moment that mixing beneficial reminders with selfies and/or snippets into their personal lives, ever be beneficial to the ummah? Has water ever remained pure after being mixed with poison? Such is the parable of these sisters on social media who taint such a noble act with lowly things. Wallāhul musta’ān

Further, we advise sisters on social media to aim towards having accounts that appear to be unknown and gender neutral, and to not disclose their gender, names, location, nor use feminine profile pictures, as such things may be a fitnah for certain people.

Al-Nasā'ī has a chapter in his Sunan:
'Relief at the Death of the Kuffār.'

Hadīth: “The land, the trees, & even the animals are relieved at the death of Kuffār."

It’s sufficient to know of Elizabeth's spite toward Islām & Muslims when she honored the dishonorable Salman Rushdie.

STATE OF AFFAIRS

When the those whom are accused of being “Khawārij” are either imprisoned or killed by the disbelievers - there is no mention of the sanctity of death, nor is the oft referenced and misused Hadith of the Jewish man’s funeral, nor the famous Hadith of Not insulting the dead.

These narrations are conveniently only reserved to be used against Muslims, when they rejoice at the death of a Taghūt, or any other Kāfir.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَلْحَلَةَ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ بْنِ رِبْعِيٍّ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُرَّ عَلَيْهِ بِجَنَازَةٍ فَقَالَ ‏"‏ مُسْتَرِيحٌ وَمُسْتَرَاحٌ مِنْهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالُوا مَا الْمُسْتَرِيحُ وَمَا الْمُسْتَرَاحُ مِنْهُ قَالَ ‏"‏ الْعَبْدُ الْمُؤْمِنُ يَسْتَرِيحُ مِنْ نَصَبِ الدُّنْيَا وَأَذَاهَا وَالْعَبْدُ الْفَاجِرُ يَسْتَرِيحُ مِنْهُ الْعِبَادُ وَالْبِلاَدُ وَالشَّجَرُ وَالدَّوَابُّ ‏"‏

"A funeral passed by the Messenger of Allah and he said: 'He is relieved and others are relieved of him.' They said: 'What does relieved mean and what does relieved of him mean: He said: "The believing slave is relieved of the hardships and troubles of this world, and the people, the land, the trees and the animals are relieved of the immoral slave."

[Sunan an-Nasa'i, 1930]

Goes to show you, where their loyalties really lie. That’s why, don’t be deceived by some good work that someone does, Allah reminds us of the true criterion:

أَجَعَلۡتُمۡ سِقَايَةَ ٱلۡحَآجِّ وَعِمَارَةَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ كَمَنۡ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَجَٰهَدَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ لَا يَسۡتَوُۥنَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِى ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

Do you consider the providing of drinking water to the pilgrims and the maintenance of Al-Masjidal-Harâm (at Makkah) as equal to the worth of those who believe in Allâh and the Last Day, and strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allâh? They are not equal before Allâh. And Allâh guides not those people who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers).

[At-Taubah 9:19]

When push comes to shove, your loyalty should lie with the Muslim, whether you disagree with their actions or not.

On that note, Alhamdulillah for the هلاك of the Taghut of Britain. I ask Allah to shower the Ummah with more good news.

#FATWA: PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT?

Question:

What is the correct position on obtaining a prenuptial agreement in order to stipulate Islamic law governing in disputes regarding marriage/divorce/kids/custody.

Would that be considered sinful, or something that is recommended if wanting to marry in the west?

Answer:

If parties doubt whether or not future disputes may lead to seeking the judgement of other than Allah — such as one of the partners not being at the level of Tawheed of their counterpart — in this case, a prenuptial agreement in the west would be Wājib (obligatory), to ensure that the rule of Allah is governed in their disputes. That being said, it’s not advisable to marry such a partner in the first place.

If parties are at a level where they will —without a doubt — only allow the Shari’ah to govern them in their disputes, the prenup isn’t necessarily required, however possibly Mustahabb.

Reflections

In our relatively short time on the Da’wah scene, being preceded by many who have far surpassed us in sincerity and effort - نحسبهم كذالك والله حسيبهم, it is abundantly clear that while this field is the most honorable and blessed fields to be in, the environment itself is extremely toxic and filled with drama.

One might look at this as a deterrent to contribute to Da’wah or be involved in Da’wah related efforts or activities, however I view it as a continuous opportunity to purify one’s intentions.

Those whom are doing it to fulfill a need within their life, will be sadly disappointed:

If you did Da’wah for status, you will be exposed.

If you did Da’wah for brotherhood, you will be let down.

If you did Da’wah to please the people, the people will be displeased.

If you did Da’wah for praise, you will be slandered.

The only way one can sustain any Da’wah related activities, is to maintain sincerity and constantly renew his/her intention for the Sake of Allah Alone, because if done for any other reason - one will get burnt out, نسأل الله السلامة والعافية

I ask Allah to purify our intentions, and Beautify our mention in the Heavens, and Allow us to meet Him while He is Pleased with us.
